RGstat was born out of necessity.
Over time, as we took on more web projects, our need for simple, fast, and affordable web analytics became more pressing. Unfortunately, nothing on the market could meet our needs.
Google Analytics felt like navigating a spaceship dashboard — slow updates, cluttered interface, and nearly impossible to use efficiently when you're dealing with 20+ websites. Paid tools didn't solve the problem either: they were expensive, and still didn't offer the flexibility or clarity we needed. In fact, the cost of analytics alone was often higher than our server bills.
Self-hosted solutions weren't much better — missing critical features, difficult to scale, and not designed for teams managing dozens of websites at once.
So we decided to build our own solution.
RGstat is a privacy-friendly, lightweight analytics platform designed specifically for people like us — teams managing multiple websites who want fast, clear, and affordable insights. We made it for ourselves, and now we're making it available for everyone who shares the same frustration.
